Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Siglio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use siglio.app.
By using Siglio you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign up with Google, your name and Google profile information. We use this to create and manage your account.
Signature content
When you create an email signature we store the information you enter in the form — including your name, job title, company name, contact details, social media links, and any custom fields you fill in. We store this to generate your signature and to power the shareable link feature.
Uploaded images
If you upload a company logo or profile photo we store these files on our servers. They are used solely to render your email signature.
Payment information
When you make a purchase we redirect you to Stripe’s secure checkout. We do not see or store your card number, expiry date, or CVC. Stripe handles all payment processing. We receive confirmation of payment and store a reference to the transaction.
Usage data
We collect basic usage data including when your shared signature link is opened, how many times it is viewed, and whether the Copy Signature button was clicked. This helps us understand how the service is being used and improve it.
Device and browser information
When a shared signature link is opened we may collect the recipient’s browser user agent string for security and analytics purposes.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your Siglio account
- Generate and render your email signatures
- Provide the shareable signature link feature
- Process payments and manage your purchases
- Send you transactional emails such as account verification and password reset
- Improve the reliability and performance of the service
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your information to third parties.
3. How we share your information
Service providers
We share data with trusted third-party services that help us operate Siglio:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy
- Cloud hosting providers — hosting, deployment, and file storage
- Google — if you use Google OAuth to sign in
We share only the minimum data necessary for each provider to perform their service.
Shared signature links
When you generate a shareable signature link and send it to a colleague, the recipient can view your signature details including your name, job title, contact information, and social links. This is the intended function of the feature. Do not include information in your signature that you do not wish to share.
Legal requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from public authorities.
4. Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete your personal data within 30 days.
Signature records are stored for as long as your account is active. When you delete a signature or your account, the associated records are removed.
Uploaded images are retained as long as your account is active or until you remove them.
Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
5. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database access controls, and regular security reviews.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
- Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
