These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Siglio, accessible at siglio.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Siglio.
1. The service
Siglio is an email signature generator that allows you to create, customise, and share professional email signatures. We provide the service on a freemium basis — a free tier with a watermark and paid options to remove the watermark.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
2. Accounts
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Siglio. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date.
One account per person
Each person may maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits is not permitted.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Siglio only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use Siglio to:
- Create signatures that impersonate another person or entity
- Include false, misleading, or deceptive contact information in your signature
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from Siglio
- Resell or sublicence access to the service without our written permission
- Include content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
4. Your content
Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you enter into Siglio — including your name, contact details, logos, and any other information in your signature.
Licence to us
By using Siglio you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content of your email signatures. You confirm that you have the right to use any logos, images, or other materials you upload to Siglio.
5. Shared signature links
When you generate a shareable signature link you are making the signature content accessible to anyone with that link. You are responsible for who you share the link with. We are not responsible for any unintended disclosure resulting from you sharing a link with the wrong person.
6. Payments and refunds
One-time purchases
All purchases on Siglio are one-time payments. There are no subscriptions. You will not be charged again unless you make a new purchase.
Refund policy
Because watermark removal is applied immediately upon purchase, we are unable to offer refunds once a signature has been upgraded. If you have made a purchase in error, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase and we will review your request.
Payment processing
All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe’s terms of service. We do not store your payment card information.
Pricing
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already made.
7. Intellectual property
Our property
The Siglio name, logo, design, software, and all content we create are owned by Siglio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of Siglio without our written permission.
Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Siglio, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
8. Third-party services
Siglio integrates with third-party services including Google OAuth, Stripe, and others. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
9. Disclaimers
Siglio is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Signatures will render identically across all email clients and devices
- The service will meet your specific requirements
Email client compatibility depends on factors outside our control including the email client version, operating system, and recipient’s email client. We make no guarantee that your signature will render perfectly in every email client.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Siglio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Siglio, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profits.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Siglio shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Siglio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of Siglio, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
By you
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion will remove your personal data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.
Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use Siglio ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Siglio shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on siglio.app or by email. Continued use of Siglio after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
